In an interview with TRT World, Irfan Yar, the founder of the Afghanistan Security Institute said that IS-k AKA ISIS is a severe fast-growing threat in Afghanistan, and it must be stopped. He added that IS-K will grow stronger if there is instability in the country. He stressed to be objective when dealing with the issue. “The Taliban is a reality; whether the world likes the Taliban or not, they have to engage with them if we want an Afghanistan that is not a source of danger for international security”.
